Our client had decided to take their conference series to the other side of the world for the first time and needed the perfect launch venue in South Australia. The event had a limited budget and required a very competitive rate in order to ensure it was profitable, but the venue also needed to be well-located in order to attract the optimum number of attendees.
We found the perfect venue for this event. The 4* Mercure Grosvenor, a great value property located in the heart of Adelaide, ticked all the boxes. We negotiated a competitive 24 hour rate with the hotel to include bedrooms and meeting space. In addition to the cost negotiation we also managed to secure a favourable cancellation policy for our client in order to protect them should the take-up for the event not be as successful as they hoped.
The property suited our client’s event perfectly. The bedrooms were comfortable, the meeting space offered the required flexibility for our client’s event and, most importantly, the competitive rate we were able to secure for our client ensured that the event was profitable. In the end, the cancellation policy we had negotiated so carefully was not required!
