The brief

With 320 attendees due to attend, our client wanted to offer an exotic and inspiring destination for the back drop to their annual conference.  They required an easily accessible location that could play host to training activities, offer cultural opportunities for guests to socialise with others, and ultimately reward top sales people for their for their hard work.  Where better than the Indonesian island famed for laid back luxury, spiritual temples, volcanic landscapes, clear blue skies and beautiful beaches?  Our suggestion of Bali was a hit!


The solution

With the majority of delegates coming from China, visa accessibility was a key concern of our new client so Bali was perfect.  We opted for the Westin Nusa Dua in Bali, an exceptionally impressive, five star beach resort overlooking the Indian Ocean, ideal to immerse guests in their exotic surroundings.  With our client never having worked with an agency before, we were able to offer guidance and expertise to help pack out their programme of events.  We took their ideas and transformed them into memorable and extraordinary occasions.  On their welcome, guests were treated to traditional Balinese dancing surrounded by stunning tropical rainforest, and tucked in to delicious traditional Indonesian cuisine.  When they weren’t in training or conferences, guests enjoyed a plethora of activities, from lavish shopping trips, to temple visits and elephant safaris to exclusive beach side dinners.


The verdict

The passion and enthusiasm that we brought to the event ensured for the whole programme to run smoothly – despite the challenges that the monsoon season brought!  Our client was thrilled, and even made note of a particular delegate commenting that it was the best DSA incentive that he had ever been to, and he had been in the industry for over 30 years.
