Barcelona – Gala Dinner

Back to Case Studies

The brief

Our client wanted to throw a finale gala dinner and party at the end of a very business oriented conference that would knock the socks off the attendees. They wanted a theme for the dinner that would be appropriate for the final venue choice, where people would feel inspired to get dressed up for an exciting and fun evening..

The solution

We found the perfect venue just outside of Barcelona. A casino in a previous life, the venue consisted of two very different looking buildings: one looked like a former warehouse, while the other resembled a stunning Spanish villa.

We decided on a 1920s “Prohibition-era” theme, and set out to create the ultimate “speakeasy”. The former warehouse was decked out as a drinking den; illegal alcohol boxes, beer barrels, and 1920s-styled actors gambling were joined by jazz musicians and cigarette girls to complete the scene. Here the guests enjoyed drinks until the den was raided by the “police”.

Having fled the den, the guests then headed into the villa, styled into a sophisticated supper club. As well as enjoying dinner, the group were entertained on stage by dancers, singers and the grand finale of a car, built into the stage, being driven out of the venue taking the singer and dancers along for the ride. The evening then finished with a DJ hitting the decks into the early hours.

The verdict

Most definitely one of the most fun events we’ve ever had the privilege of organizing. The pictures speak for themselves – the client loved the theme and its execution, an exceptional event with great feedback.
